Treasury Tuesday: Peridot, the color of August

Happy birthday to all the summer souls born this month! Peridot is August's birthstone and one of PattiKuz's favorite colors, so she created the gloriously green collection below. My Peridot dragon print is featured. My current art goal is to finally give him a friend and start another birthstone dragon before September. Go vote on my Squidoo lens if you'd like to help choose which gem I draw first.

I really have to go back and read this post again,it seems so enchanting, but I don't know exactly what your doing.Don't mind me,it must be my age-but I do want to play.Thank you for your comment on my painting, coming from a real artist it means so much. How do you obtain all those effects, like lighting with color pencils?Iv'e tried,I must be using the wrong pencils?

  4. You're welcome, Denise! Thanks for stopping by. This is a weekly Linky I offer for fellow handmade sellers to share their Etsy treasuries and Artfire collections - so if you're not a member of either of those marketplaces, I can see how it might be confusing.

And thank you for your compliments. *blush* I use Prismacolor pencils, and blend several at a time (one very light, a couple medium, one very dark) to color each element.
