Treasury Tuesday: A Knight's Tale ...

I may usually root for the dragon in fantasy stories, but charming knights can still make my heart beat all aflutter. Tara of Happy Capatiller told a tale that enchanted me. The characters included a self reconciling knight on a white horse, a damsel wearing a bustle gown with black Venetian lace and of course, my fire dragon.

  4. I sure did see "The Walking Dead" premier the other night and really enjoyed it. I saw they were having a talk show afterward, "Talking Dead" but didn't stay up for it or tape it, sounds like it was interesting though.

I got really nervous because I thought I would miss the premier the other night. AMC was having a marathon that day of season 1 episodes (at least where I live) and so I sat down at about 5:30 to start watching and the station was just gone. We called the cable company and they said they would have to send someone out this week to fix it. I could watch it online but would rather not, I prefer the tv. Then we realized it was just the high definition channel that was out and standard def was still playing so, to my great relief, I was able to watch the premier, as planned on Sunday night. :)

Ps... I told my husband I would watch it on a cardboard box with soup can antenna's if I had to. LOL

Makeup Giveaway: All Natural Mineral Cosmetics by Madison Street Beauty

EDIT: Giveaway is officially closed. Congratulations to Rita Szlovencsák for submitting the randomly chosen 57th entry. Perhaps it's the hot weather and the drought in Delaware, but I have been daydreaming about being a mermaid. That's why I gleamed to discover the Etsy Blog's Mermaid Makeup Tutorial when looking through the list of articles where my new giveaway sponsor's products have shimmered. Madison Street Beauty has dozens of magnificent eye shadow colors that could enhance the sexy siren in any creature. One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first? The owners, Bridget and Rhys, are currently celebrating their one year Etsyversary and offering an astonish...

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Susana Silva for submitting the randomly-chosen 392nd entry. Normal people go to the beach in the summer, but I prefer autumn when it's more peaceful. The weather may be chilly, but that's why scarves come in handy! Not to mention that they're also a fun fashion accessory. One winner will get to choose any scarf under $40 from Elizabeth Koh to heat up an outfit. Elizabeth Koh is not one person, but two - both Janelle and Megan's middle names are Elizabeth, and Koh means island in Thailand, where they handcraft all their cotton and silk scarves. Every collection is named after a beach or island in Thailand and feature a range of weights for wearing in several seasons. Elizabeth Koh is committed to improving the communities where their products are made, so 10% of proceeds are donated to SOS Children's Villages in Thailand.
