WW: Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, TN

Titanic Replica Ship Photo

"A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets."
- Rose from Titanic movie

The Titanic Museum is quite a surprising sight to see when driving through Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We didn't have time to tour it during our first trip, but I had to get close enough to photograph the building. The replica was built at half-scale of the original ship and still towered above me! I saved the Titanic photo to share until today since it sank on April 15, 1912.

  5. Awww :( I woulnd't watch the movie foryears and years, nothing could ever quite compare with the way my mothers told us the tragic tale when we were children of cabins flooding, and mothers hanging on to the children trying to keep them afloat in the icy sea.

  10. It is rather tall, isn't it? I snapped a photo of this the first year it opened, but it was a day shot. I like your night picture ~ very dramatic! I took a few pictures of it about two weeks ago across the road, but I wasn't happy with the results even though I zoomed in. I will have to go back to get an evening shoot. Nice job on yours & happy WW! BTW, I haven't toured it, either, but would love to!
