WW: Yellow Asiatic Lilies

Yellow Lilies Photo
"I've been waiting for that bright sunshine to show up and shine in my back door someday."
- Oscar Wilde

The beautiful yellow lily that Ogre bought me last spring multiplied like mad! I've been watching them start to bloom through my back door for days, but it didn't occur to me to water them - until right before I took this flower photograph, of course.

  17. I've always loved lilies, they're a flower that can make a ho-hum bouquet look spectacular and it only takes 2 or 3 of them. The sunny color of your lilies certainly make them a cheerful addition to the garden.

EDIT: Giveaway is officially closed. Congratulations to Rita Szlovencsák for submitting the randomly chosen 57th entry. Perhaps it's the hot weather and the drought in Delaware, but I have been daydreaming about being a mermaid. That's why I gleamed to discover the Etsy Blog's Mermaid Makeup Tutorial when looking through the list of articles where my new giveaway sponsor's products have shimmered. Madison Street Beauty has dozens of magnificent eye shadow colors that could enhance the sexy siren in any creature. One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first? The owners, Bridget and Rhys, are currently celebrating their one year Etsyversary and offering an astonish...
