I was tickled pink to discover tulip trees were blooming for my birthday last week! I knew the weather would be warmer in South Carolina, 600 miles south of Delaware (where my birthday plans have been snowed out many times over the years) but never dreamed my favorite spring trees would be awake the first week of FEBRUARY. According to WhereTraveler.com , tulip trees usually start to bloom late February to early March in Charleston, SC.
