Even if I'm suddenly struck with amnesia on Tuesday and don't wear a green outfit for St. Patrick's Day, I won't get pinched! Not only do I have green hair tinsel tied in my tresses, but I'm wearing an ombre green manicure. St. Patrick's Day is a day my friends and I take seriously. We throw on layers upon layers of green: shirts, necklaces, glasses, suspenders, the list goes on and on. Me being a nail fanatic, I just had to do something with my nails. This year, I decided to keep my nails simple. I used Essie's "First Timer", a beautiful pastel green, as a base coat and mixed my own green color for the 4-leaf clover stamp on a MASH plate . If you're wondering if you can mix nail polish like paint, the answer is yes! Great way to create your own colors, without having to buy more polishes. At least I was able to take a pretty picture of the petals after he lost interest!

Don't fall off your bar stool, but I have never drank a green beer. I rarely drink beer at all, unless I'm at a restaurant that is running a huge happy hour deal. I used to spend hours looking for four leaf clovers with a childhood friend. Spotting one amidst the thousands of three leaf clovers always felt so magical.
