Jamberry Giveaway: Snow and Ice Nail Art

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Amanda Stovall for submitting the randomly-chosen 568th entry. Please email me back within 72 hours to claim your prize. A week into winter in our new, very old house and the pipes have already frozen. It was a summer home for years, and our area rarely gets and stays this cold for so long. Even ice is forming on the Delaware Bay ! Just so my nails wouldn't feel left out in the cold, I chose a jamicure that fits into the rest of the cool surroundings. Then I skated into the Jeepers! It's January Giveaway Hop. I'm sharing half a nail art sheet of Snow and Ice, a Jamberry Junior design that retired several seasons ago. If you don't have a little girl and would rather use them yourself, I'm also including two of the largest Sapphire wraps that can be cut down into at least four adult-size thumb nail wraps. If you haven't ever tried Jamberry nail wraps, read my Jamberry Nail Wraps Tutorial on my friend K...

To help my readers warm up their winter fashion, I'm sharing half a nail art sheet of Hot Toddy , plus an accent nail of Autumn Romance , both of which I was gifted from my fellow nail art addict, Janet Stoy . Manicure Monday: Sakura Nail Art by Color Street

A Sakura Festival bloomed in my mailbox last week. My friend and fellow nail art addict, Janet , discovered Color Street nail polish strips and sent me a surprise package, knowing I'd love them, too. They were so simple to apply - no heating or trimming to my nail bed size required! I've been wearing the nail stickers a week and they still look great, just some chipping around the tips. (Keep in mind that my new, very old house doesn't have a dishwasher, so I've been washing dishes by hand.) Sakura Nail Art Finds

Manicure Monday: Copenhagen Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

March has come in like a lunatic lion the last few years. Thank goodness there's always the Art of The Belly festival in Ocean City to whirl away the wacky weather by the end of the month! This year I chose to wear Copenhagen nail wraps from Seasonail , accented with a retired diamond design still available on Amazon , to match my blue sequin scarf . If you like the blue watercolor wraps, come back on April 5 for the Rain Rain Go Away Giveaway Hop to enter to win half my Jamberry sheet. Jamberry Giveaway: Queen Anne Floral Nail Art

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Trinity Rosario for submitting the randomly-chosen 801st entry. Please email me back within 72 hours to claim your prize. With all the negative news these days, I'd like to remind my readers to stop and smell the flowers. Or better yet, wear them! I'm sharing half of my Queen Anne floral nail art sheet, plus an accent nail of White Romance with one lucky winner. Both designs are retired and thus more expensive to dig up than when they were readily available from a Jamberry consultant like mine, Janet Stoy . Manicure Monday: Tinsel Poinsettia by Jamberry Nails

It's the most wonderful time of the year to wear Tinsel Poinsettia nail wraps! Although I have to disagree about it also being the hap-happiest season of all - Seasonail makes every season a joy to get Jamberry nail art in the mail. Check back January 17 to see what design she'll be giving away for the Jeepers It's January Giveaway Hop. Manicure Monday: Porcelain Floral Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

I specifically picked out white flowers to match my manicure two weeks ago. For the first time ever, the fresh cut flowers outlasted the ones on my nails, as I just removed these Jamberry wraps yesterday. (The blue Porcelain design retired awhile ago, but there's still 2 available on Amazon.) You can bet I'll be buying more chrysanthemums in the future. And also sharing another picture of the beautiful bouquet without my hand obscuring it next Flower Friday. Manicure Monday: Blue Floral Nail Art by Jamberry

Apparently this blue floral manicure is a biennial because it's been 2 years since it bloomed first on my nails for a best friend's wedding. Except this time I added an accent nail of blue and white stripes. And I still have half a sheet left so maybe you'll see the retired Jamberry design yet again in 2018! Manicure Monday: Berry Sparkler Wraps by Jamberry Nails

Yes, I used a breast cancer awareness fundraiser as an excuse to buy more pink hair tinsel and glittery Jamberry nail wraps on Amazon! Sprint to my Photography Field of Flowers blog if you want to read about my experience at the 7th annual DE-feet Breast Cancer 5K yesterday. I stopped to smell (and photograph) the roses while waiting at the start line. The Sunday before the race, I saw this pink flower bush on my way to a Wizard of Oz ballet and had to pose with it for Manicure Monday. Anyone know the type of blooms? Manicure Monday: Amethyst Sparkle Nails by Jamberry

Last week I vacationed in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and gave my blog a rest. But I'm too much of a flower fan to leave my fellow junkies strung without photos for long, so I posed with pretty petals for Manicure Monday. I found a beautiful bearded iris to match my amethyst nails outside the White Oak Lavender Farm in Harrisonburg. The glittery Jamberry wraps I'm wearing were retired awhile ago, but several other sparkle nail stickers are available on Amazon. Manicure Monday: Peacock Nail Art by Jamberry

I've been using Jamberry nail wraps instead of nail polish almost every two weeks for more than two years, and have yet to finish a full sheet. I just can't turn my tail feathers to trying different designs. Thus why I've flown to Amazon to buy retired half sheets instead! This week I preened my nails to apply Jamberry's Peacock nail stickers with ombre accent nail design, Atlantis . Manicure Monday: Decorative Floral Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

Don't worry, no blossoms were harmed in the taking of this photo! I was very careful when posing with the flowering pear tree, thus why the angle of the actual nail art isn't as flattering and you can see the tips of my naked nails. Jamberry Nails retired their Black Decorative design so long ago that it's not even available on Amazon, but my accent nail, Black Floral , is being sold as a half sheet of nail wraps, which does at least two full manicures. Or if you're just a fan of tree blossoms , you can order a pretty flower photo on several products without my hand marring the tree on my Fine Art America shop . I ordered a pink cherry blossoms pillow to take to art shows as an example and can't wait to see the throw pillow in person.
