Wish Manicure: Black and Gold Nail Polish Stickers

Happy Spring! The daffodils are blooming again, and so is my blog. Who knows how long I'll be back this time, as my brick-and-mortar comic book store is always branching out in new ways and keeping me busy. But since I discovered Jamberry nail wraps in 2014 and no longer have to use paint to make my nails pretty, I make time at least every few weeks to do my nails. I've tried many, many brands of nail stickers, including Sally Hansen polish strips and Color Street nail strips . The black and gold nail polish stickers I'm wearing above came from Wish. The design is A169 , but there's dozens of other options. They are currently being offered for free, with $3 shipping, but prices on Wish fluctuate constantly. Plus, checkout using my referral code, nzvwwgk, to get $5 to spend on Wish.com ! Even if you're already a member, you can still claim the credit if you haven't made a purchase within 30 days. Purple Flower Photo: Waterlily at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania

It's been a stressful summer. So last Thursday my parents and I decided we needed flower therapy, and took a day trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. I was delighted that the waterlilies were in bloom. Don't worry, this purple waterlily wasn't harmed to be in my Manicure Monday photo - it was part of an information station where guests could get a closer look at the flower without falling into the man-made ponds. I took more than a hundred photos of plants and will be slowly sharing them in future Flower Fridays. Featured Flower Picks: Purple Roses Nail Art • Dune Sunflower • Gold Leaf Nail Art

Handmade Trove: Deadpool Ornament

What's better than red glitter on my nails? Red glitter on my Christmas tree! I've been eying Katie Crafts' handmade ornaments since I saw her Santa Cam on Instagram last year. Now that I have Ogre's Grove to stock, I was able to order glittery goods for my fellow geeks to gawk over. Deadpool, Flash, Punisher and Darth Vader ornaments arrived in time to take a set to Ocean City Comic Con this Saturday, Dec. 9 - that is, unless Katie's creations sell out at 129 Union St. in Milton, Delaware first! And we're still days away from Friday, but I am wearing Jamberry's Tinsel Poinsettia design as an accent nail, so I hope you'll linky up some flowers anyway!

Thanksgiving Manicure: Autumn Harvest Nail Art by Color Street

I am thankful my readers have still been checking into my hop, despite how inconsistent my blogging has been now that I have a brick and mortar business to grow! It's exciting to have a Fairy Corner in Ogre's Grove to display my handmade trove. The beautiful bracelet I'm wearing with my Thanksgiving manicure is designed by Sarah Artisan Jewelry , who has a mermaid shell necklace and earring set available to buy at 129 Union St. in Milton, Delaware. I'm also getting to share my love of nail art at the Grove! Last month, my friend Janet Stoy came to the shop to demonstrate how to apply Color Street nail polish strips for Halloween. And of course I had to gather up delightful designs for myself. I saved Autumn Harvest to wear until today. I hope your Thanksgiving is stuffed with what you love about life, too!

Manicure Monday: Pink Ribbon Nail Art to Benefit Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

If you follow me on Facebook , you already know why I didn't have time to post my Flower Friday hop. I was busy delivering and glittering fairy shirts for my mom's breast cancer awareness 5K team to wear Saturday for Dewey Goes Pink! I also did my nails - but that didn't take long at all with the Pink Ribbon nail stickers my friend Janet gave me. She sells nail art for fun and gives the proceeds to charities like Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. And of course, I have to throw a party and try to earn hostess rewards. So if you're interested in ordering, please with pink sparkles, click here to peruse all the pretty designs Color Street offers. Featured Flower Nail Picks: Miami Beach • Rose Path • Sakura Festival

Manicure Monday: Sakura Nail Art by Color Street

A Sakura Festival bloomed in my mailbox last week. My friend and fellow nail art addict, Janet , discovered Color Street nail polish strips and sent me a surprise package, knowing I'd love them, too. They were so simple to apply - no heating or trimming to my nail bed size required! I've been wearing the nail stickers a week and they still look great, just some chipping around the tips. (Keep in mind that my new, very old house doesn't have a dishwasher, so I've been washing dishes by hand.) Sakura Nail Art Finds

Manicure Monday: Pink Butterfly Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

We have spread our wings into our new, very old house! There's still piles of unpacking to do, but my weekly Flower Friday posts should take flight again soon. Until then, enjoy my Butterfly Kisses accent nail wrap that fluttered onto an orange zinnia. Featured Flower Picks: Phalanta Phalantha Butterfly • Butterfly Nail Art • Sunflower

Manicure Monday: Snakeskin Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

I am finally slinking through with another blog post. I saw a snake outside my new, very old home and that inspired me to choose Jamberry Nails' Snakeskin design with accent Urban Lights as a jamicure. We still have a lot of work to do before we can live there, but I look forward to being able to blog more consistently by the end of summer. For now, please forgive me for adding a Flower Friday linky to another Manicure Monday post. Featured Flower Picks: White Lilies • Bohemian Snakeskin Nail Art • Daisies

Manicure Monday: Little Luxuries Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

Moving hasn't been very kind to my schedule to squeeze in blogging, but I finally had to make time to stop and apply the flowers! Despite not knowing how well wraps will withstand all the work we still have to do to the historic home we bought, I couldn't wait another minute to wear the Little Luxuries with accent Peppermint Stripe designs from my Jamberry consultant, Seasonail . Since I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to blog hop again, I'm also adding an extended Flower Friday linky to this post. Featured Flower Picks: Dropmore Scarlet Honeysuckle • Flower In The Air Nail Art • Red Abutilon Blossom

Manicure Monday: Fern and Flower Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

A white rabbit made me late for a very important date! I didn't have time to blog the Flower Friday before the holiday, thus I am combining the hop with Manicure Monday by posing with a Kwanzan cherry tree . I picked Vintage Chic with accent Love Fern nail wraps for my Easter jamicure. Speaking of not wanting to be late, don't miss your chance to enter to win half a sheet of Jamberry wraps in my Rain Rain Go Away Giveaway before April 19 at 11:59 p.m. EST! Featured Flower Picks: Ranunculus Bouquet • Cherry Blossom Nail Art • Spring Flowers

Manicure Monday: Copenhagen Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

March has come in like a lunatic lion the last few years. Thank goodness there's always the Art of The Belly festival in Ocean City to whirl away the wacky weather by the end of the month! This year I chose to wear Copenhagen nail wraps from Seasonail , accented with a retired diamond design still available on Amazon , to match my blue sequin scarf . If you like the blue watercolor wraps, come back on April 5 for the Rain Rain Go Away Giveaway Hop to enter to win half my Jamberry sheet. Manicure Monday: Tinsel Poinsettia by Jamberry Nails

It's the most wonderful time of the year to wear Tinsel Poinsettia nail wraps! Although I have to disagree about it also being the hap-happiest season of all - Seasonail makes every season a joy to get Jamberry nail art in the mail. Check back January 17 to see what design she'll be giving away for the Jeepers It's January Giveaway Hop. Manicure Monday: Night Fright by Jamberry Nails

Look at the treat that arrived on my doorstep just in time for Halloween! Due to finances, I hadn't dared to explore the current Jamberry catalog until Janet Stoy of Seasonail asked what was on my wishlist. Night Fright jumped out right away. Stars, stripes and skulls play a substantial part in my fashion style year-round, not just on All Hallows' Eve.
