Check me.

I haven't had to order checks in ages. Several years ago, I giddily ordered the cutest Strawberry Shortcake checks and matching address labels. And a few months after that, I had to shred said cute checks, thanks to my bank being devoured by a bigger bank and issuing me new numbers. So I just pouted and used their terribly boring (but free) replacements instead. Since I rarely write checks anymore, it seemed like they would never run out and give me a good excuse to buy pretty ones ever again. But after paying for my last hip hop exercise class pack, I was excited to discover I'm finally on the last stack.

Jasmine Beckett-GriffithI searched and found this website that offers cheap checks. And lucky me, the 80's-style Strawberry Shortcake designs are still available. But then a link for fairy checks caught my eye.

Amy BrownTwo of my favorite fantasy artists, Jasmine Beckett-Griffith and Amy Brown, have their work licensed out as check designs. Wouldn't it be splendid to have my own art on my own checks?!

I'm not at the level to license my work yet, but it got me hoping that there might be companies out there that print custom designed checks. Do you know of any?
