Wordless Wednesday: Real Mermaid at Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach

Real Mermaid Photo
"In caverns cool when the tide's a wash,
I sound my conch to the watery splash.

From out their grottos at evenings beam,
the mermaids swim with locks agleam."

  1. Well, well, well....Aquariann at the aquarium (sorry, I'm punchy & addicted to bad puns tonight). Seriously, I LOVE the De La Mare quote. It's beautiful. Hope your WW goes swimmingly.....

  3. I like the blue tail, all the movies/books show them with a green tail. If I was a mermaid, I'd want a blue tail.

    Fun photo!

  14. Real mermaids do exist! It must have been quite a magical show to have a fairy tale character come to life.
