WW: Trees Poem by Joyce Kilmer

Trees Poem by Joyce Kilmer

"I Think That I Shall Never See
A Poem Lovely as a Tree.
Poems Were Made By Fools Like Me,
But Only God Can Make A Tree"

The sculptures and stone signs at Brookgreen Gardens, SC are stunning.

  10. In NC there is the Joyce Kilmer forest and they have this poem on a plaque as well beside a very large tree. I don't recall what kind, but it's rather big. I would have to think it's a oak, but I can't swear to that. Anyhow, this is great. Thanks for sharing & hosting!

  14. Trees for some reason scare me to death. Not the regular yard trees, but the huge fallen ones. I can't walk anywhere near them. I'm so strange.
