Fashion Giveaway: Dreamcatcher Shirt, a Wearable Art Collaboration

I have some uplifting news for those whose spirits have been chilled by the cold weather - Dawn of DewDropz Garden and Kelsey of Good Vibes For Sale are giving away the above dreamcatcher shirt from their chakra collaboration line! The "Aloha" shirt has been created with a myriad of greens and yellows to represent and activate the solar and heart chakras. The design has been adorned with turquoise abstract cotton jersey appliqué around the shoulders and back, flattering elastic ruching down the center of the bodice and deep v peek-a-boo cut-outs along the back where the suspended dreamcatcher appears to float. The whimsical tattered fabrics of cotton and poly blends have been gathered and tacked around the waist so the layers shimmy, shake, twirl and whirl when you move! The upcycled shirt is a Juniors/Women size Small/Medium and fits bust up to 36" and high waist up to 30".

So how did fate bring Dawn and Kelsey to create such lovely wearable art together? I'll let Dawn tell you. "Our friendship began through Etsy just a few months ago in the fall of 2012 when Kelsey was the second person to buy from my Etsy shop and then a few weeks later she was the winner of my very first giveaway! The universe was speaking! We both felt an instant kinship - sharing a love for music festivals, hula hooping and eco-friendly vibes! I had a vision of creating some clothing with her lovely dreamcatchers from her Etsy shop and the very next day I received in the mail from Kelsey a surprise dreamcatcher she made me in gratitude for the giveaway. I saw that as a sign and immediately asked her if she would want to do a collaboration set with me and just like that it was in the works. We decided to go with a theme for the chakras, and manifested a small collection of chakra wear to offer up for activation and balancing, while incorporating native dreamcatcher guidance and protection."
