Handmade Trove: Blue Leather Bracelet by SNiS

Handmade Bracelet by SNiS Leather Goods

I constantly doodled eyes in my notebooks when bored in school. The windows to the soul are still the first things I draw when starting a fairy, even though I'm fully aware that if I heeded my Drawing 101 teacher's instructions and sketched body shapes first, my figures would look more anatomically correct. But I can't help it! I'm just drawn to eyes. The shape of my engagement ring even resembles an eye.

Imagine my excitement when Milan of SNiS Leather Good offered to send me his beautiful Agnes bracelet in navy blue! I can't stop staring at it. The handmade bracelet is crafted from 100% natural leather. Every piece is cut and carved by hand, so even though any of you can also order the same design, each one will be slightly different.

Same goes with all his unique leather creations. He's even giving away a leather tulip wallet for free. (You may need to rub your eyes to make sure you read that right.) Just follow the Rafflecopter instructions on his Handmade Giveaway to enter to win before May 5, 2015.

Disclaimer: I received this free bracelet as a thank you gift for hosting a handmade giveaway. If you think your creations would harmonize with my whimsical ramblings, learn how to sponsor a giveaway here.

Makeup Giveaway: All Natural Mineral Cosmetics by Madison Street Beauty

EDIT: Giveaway is officially closed. Congratulations to Rita Szlovencsák for submitting the randomly chosen 57th entry. Perhaps it's the hot weather and the drought in Delaware, but I have been daydreaming about being a mermaid. That's why I gleamed to discover the Etsy Blog's Mermaid Makeup Tutorial when looking through the list of articles where my new giveaway sponsor's products have shimmered. Madison Street Beauty has dozens of magnificent eye shadow colors that could enhance the sexy siren in any creature. One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first? The owners, Bridget and Rhys, are currently celebrating their one year Etsyversary and offering an astonish...

Handmade Giveaway: Scarf from Elizabeth Koh

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Susana Silva for submitting the randomly-chosen 392nd entry. Normal people go to the beach in the summer, but I prefer autumn when it's more peaceful. The weather may be chilly, but that's why scarves come in handy! Not to mention that they're also a fun fashion accessory. One winner will get to choose any scarf under $40 from Elizabeth Koh to heat up an outfit. Elizabeth Koh is not one person, but two - both Janelle and Megan's middle names are Elizabeth, and Koh means island in Thailand, where they handcraft all their cotton and silk scarves. Every collection is named after a beach or island in Thailand and feature a range of weights for wearing in several seasons. Elizabeth Koh is committed to improving the communities where their products are made, so 10% of proceeds are donated to SOS Children's Villages in Thailand. Not only will you help feed others by buying a scarf this holiday season, you'll al...

Giveaway: Abigail Necklace by Cut Your Heart Out

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over! Congratulations to the randomly chosen 165th commenter, Darcie K.! Christmas will come twice this year for a lucky lady out there. Jessica of Cut Your Heart Out is gifting away her gorgeous Abigail necklace. The elegant design features a 1" metal leaf pendant on a 24.5" medium silver cable chain accented with red acrylic spacers. Nature lovers will love the simplicity of the sole leaf and fashionistas will appreciate the boldness of the red pops of color. Jessica creates wickedly sweet accessories to adorn neck and ears. She abides by a simple philosophy - delight the customer with handmade pieces. She doesn't list anything in her online store that she wouldn't be proud to wear herself. Nor does she believe in putting high price tags on her work. All of her beautiful necklaces and earrings are almost too affordable, starting at only $5! How To Enter The Giveaway Giveaway is open worldwide. I will be pulling a number from my random.o...
