  10. Amazing! Spider webs are not the easiest to photograph.

Another great Halloween image. I'm picturing this lamp post standing as sentinel outside an old run-down mansion. No one visits anymore...except ghosts from the past and the spiders. ;)

  14. Thanks to everyone for all the comments!

Autena - it's a natural Halloween decoration spun by a real spider! The web shows up so well against the light sky because it's covered in rain drops.

Serena - your imagination is better than reality! It's actually the light by my front door.

It is entirely up to you how you wish to celebrate the chilly theme; just have fun floating about! This linky party will keep flurrying until melted by another challenge near the spring equinox, so you have plenty of time to participate. Makeup Giveaway: All Natural Mineral Cosmetics by Madison Street Beauty

EDIT: Giveaway is officially closed. Congratulations to Rita Szlovencsák for submitting the randomly chosen 57th entry. Perhaps it's the hot weather and the drought in Delaware, but I have been daydreaming about being a mermaid. That's why I gleamed to discover the Etsy Blog's Mermaid Makeup Tutorial when looking through the list of articles where my new giveaway sponsor's products have shimmered. Madison Street Beauty has dozens of magnificent eye shadow colors that could enhance the sexy siren in any creature. One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first? The owners, Bridget and Rhys, are currently celebrating their one year Etsyversary and offering an astonish...
