eBook Giveaway: Historical Fiction Novels by Ian Hall

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Winner will be announced later in the week.

The Caledonii Series
I'm still too attached to paper books to buy an eReader - but you can bet I've been trying to win one in free sweepstakes. The digital book world is immense and I'm just starting to explore it. Karla, a fellow Fantasy Artist of Etsy, recently introduced me to the writings of her husband, Ian Hall. He is not confined by genres, having equal success in Historical adventure, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror and hard hitting gritty crime. He even writes self-help books for writers! After looking inside his "Why You Should Write e-Books, e-Novels, e-Shorts", I'm tempted to revisit my childhood dream of becoming an author. I have been awfully interested in zombies lately, so his "How To Write Your Own Zombie Novel" advice could feed my brain nicely.

Ian is currently working on his Caledonii: Birth of a Nation series. He just released the fourth part, and each is over 100 pages long. The story begins in 74 AD. The Roman Legions have held control of Southern Britain for 19 years. In that time they have solidified their hold, and put down tribal rebellions by Boudicca of the Icenii, and Venutius of the Brigantes. With the tribes pacified at their backs, the Romans advance their roads northward, with their goal: the conquest of the whole of the British Isles. The Northern Druids, realizing this, have arranged a meeting of all seventeen tribal, or clan, chiefs. Amidst the bitter local rivalries, and deep-scored bickering, the Druids try to unite the clans together to face the oncoming Roman threat.

One reader will get lost in the first three parts of these fascinating Historical Fiction novels for free. Files will be emailed in PDF format which the Kindle program will automatically convert to an eBook. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter before 11:59pm EST on February 20, 2012. Check out his wife's Jewelry Giveaway, too.

  1. You should definitely write a novel, especially if you have ideas in your mind. You can always beta test chapters or even just pages here.
