Manicure Monday: Metallic Snakeskin Nail Wraps by Jamberry Nails

Metallic Snakeskin Nail Art

My koi fish nail polish strips finally swam away on day 14. Despite Sally Hansen's "lasts up to 10 days" claim, the scales were still barely chipped - but I just couldn't wait any longer to wear one of the sets I earned from my first Jamberry party.

I ordered 10 designs, but Metallic Snakeskin was an easy first choice because it was Art of the Belly dance festival weekend! I thought it'd be fun to wear snakeskin nail art while watching several stunning dancers make snake arm movements. I also added Metallic Silver and White Fishnet as an accent on my ring finger nails. The shinier, the better when shimmying!

Speaking of sparkle, Jamberry just released two exclusive MAMMA MIA! wraps that are only available for a limited time. My my, I couldn't resist already starting another party to get my hands on the Broadway design! Jamberry Nails is still offering the Buy 3, Get One 1 deal so don't delay. Please find and select "Aquariann" in the list of names under party at checkout to help me reach my goal.

Makeup Giveaway: All Natural Mineral Cosmetics by Madison Street Beauty

EDIT: Giveaway is officially closed. Congratulations to Rita Szlovencsák for submitting the randomly chosen 57th entry. Perhaps it's the hot weather and the drought in Delaware, but I have been daydreaming about being a mermaid. That's why I gleamed to discover the Etsy Blog's Mermaid Makeup Tutorial when looking through the list of articles where my new giveaway sponsor's products have shimmered. Madison Street Beauty has dozens of magnificent eye shadow colors that could enhance the sexy siren in any creature. One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first? The owners, Bridget and Rhys, are currently celebrating their one year Etsyversary and offering an astonish...

Handmade Giveaway: Scarf from Elizabeth Koh

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Susana Silva for submitting the randomly-chosen 392nd entry. Normal people go to the beach in the summer, but I prefer autumn when it's more peaceful. The weather may be chilly, but that's why scarves come in handy! Not to mention that they're also a fun fashion accessory. One winner will get to choose any scarf under $40 from Elizabeth Koh to heat up an outfit. Elizabeth Koh is not one person, but two - both Janelle and Megan's middle names are Elizabeth, and Koh means island in Thailand, where they handcraft all their cotton and silk scarves. Every collection is named after a beach or island in Thailand and feature a range of weights for wearing in several seasons. Elizabeth Koh is committed to improving the communities where their products are made, so 10% of proceeds are donated to SOS Children's Villages in Thailand. Not only will you help feed others by buying a scarf this holiday season, you'll al...

Giveaway: Abigail Necklace by Cut Your Heart Out

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over! Congratulations to the randomly chosen 165th commenter, Darcie K.! Christmas will come twice this year for a lucky lady out there. Jessica of Cut Your Heart Out is gifting away her gorgeous Abigail necklace. The elegant design features a 1" metal leaf pendant on a 24.5" medium silver cable chain accented with red acrylic spacers. Nature lovers will love the simplicity of the sole leaf and fashionistas will appreciate the boldness of the red pops of color. Jessica creates wickedly sweet accessories to adorn neck and ears. She abides by a simple philosophy - delight the customer with handmade pieces. She doesn't list anything in her online store that she wouldn't be proud to wear herself. Nor does she believe in putting high price tags on her work. All of her beautiful necklaces and earrings are almost too affordable, starting at only $5! How To Enter The Giveaway Giveaway is open worldwide. I will be pulling a number from my random.o...
