WW: First Yellow Daffodil of Spring

Yellow Daffodil Photo

"She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
"Winter is dead."
- Excerpt from When We Were Very Young by A.A. Milne

Sound the daffodil trumpets - a week after the heaviest snow storm of the year, I saw my first flowers of spring in bloom!

  1. Love daffy daffodils. I should get some and start growing them. The rabbits don't like to eat them so I can put them many different places. I do have paperwhites. They started blooming around Christmas, and are all gone now. My goodness, they had such a heavenly aroma!
